
For those like us, who aren’t entirely sure what bumpers are - let us enlighten you. Traditionally used in American TV, bumpers are the images that go before and after commercials.



The Late Night with Letterman ones are, in our opinion, some of the coolest out there. Designed by Marc Karzen, Bob Pook and Edd Hall, the trio would come up with concepts, with Karzen explaining, "The idea was to integrate the title into natural New York situations."



From Varsity Jackets to New York Pizza, the results perfectly encapsulate America throughout the 80s and into the early 90s.
